MARWAN ALLAM

Marwan Allam is a New York City based bassist, composer, and bandleader raised in Tunisia and studied jazz at the Prins Claus Conservatory in Netherlands.

Marwan has toured with the the flutist Dominque Gagne, flamenco guitarist Andreas Arnold, Camila Celin, Melvis Santa, James Labrosse joined the pianist Albert Marques flamenco –jazz trio summer 2021, trumpeter Shareef Clayton, Brian Prunka.

Marwan has performed at venues and festivals including Cairo Jazz (Egypt), Hammamet Tabarka Jazz Festival Carthage (Tunisia), Haskovo Jazz Festival (Bulgaria), Jazz Station Brussel (Belgium), National Theater of Seoul (Korea), and Mediterranean Jazz Festival NYC (USA) in various projects and different music genres. He has performed with with several award winning artists including pianists Marc Cary and Tarek Yammani, guitarist Freddie Bryant, vocalist Liz Rosa, and saxophonists Jay Rattman and Jure Pukl. He has performed at clubs and venues around NYC such as Smoke, Mezzrow, Zinc Bar, the Django, Smalls, and Terassa.
